Job Description Job Description Relocation to Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital in Laurel, MD is excited to have another Veterinarian join their team Sign-on and retention bonuses available For almost 75, years Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital has weathered many storms. Our 18,000 square foot modern, well equipped veterinary hospital, located between Baltimore MD and Washington DC, has been a pillar of the community decades. We currently have 8 ER doctors and 10 general practitioners to staff our 24/7/365d hospital. We pride ourselves in our state-of-the-art veterinary care with old-fashioned values. What makes us different: SET SCHEDULES - Always. How can you have any quality of work/life balance without knowing when you are going to work? We will never change your schedule without your permission. Our schedules are published 3 – 6 months in advance. MENTORSHIP - Our medical director meets individually with our new doctors and recent grads regularly and there is always someone available to discuss cases with. GROW AND LEARN - How often are you able to follow up on cases that you send to the ER? At Rocky Gorge, because our ER is integrated with our general practice, you can always review cases. We firmly believe this helps our doctors continue to grow and learn. You can even log in from home to review cases. We also offer a competitive yearly CE allowance and additional PTO for CE attendance. BONUSES - Sign on and retention bonuses available, along with competitive salaries. Our doctors do not work on production. We want our doctors to practice the best medicine and not worry how that will affect their paycheck. We are happy to offer: Competitive salary of 115,000 - 150,000, depending on experience, and benefits including health, dental, liability insurance, CE allowance and a matching 401K. Managing veterinarians decide what level of medicine they would like their hospital to achieve, and NVA provides the support to get them there. to improve the comfort and well-being of patients by providing progressive and compassionate veterinary care. We develop a team of individual hospitals that share knowledge to achieve sustainable growth.
