Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/09/2025 Duration: 10 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: X-ray Technician (Allied) / X-ray Technologist (Allied) Specialty/Dept.: X-Ray Facility Location: Atlanta, Georgia Shift Type: 10-Hour Nights (Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Assignment Length: 10 Week Position Overview: Join our dynamic healthcare team as an X-ray Technician in Atlanta, Georgia This is a great opportunity for skilled X-ray Technologists seeking a travel position with guaranteed hours, competitive pay, and a challenging, fast-paced work environment. You will be working in various settings including the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, and performing portable X-rays. If you're passionate about providing excellent care in a Level 1 Trauma center and are comfortable working with pediatric and neonatal patients, this position is for you Key Responsibilities: Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures on patients in various settings including OR, ED, inpatient care, and portable units. Assess the technical quality of radiographic images, ensuring they meet established standards. Work with the EMR system (EPIC) and imaging systems (Sectra, GE, Phillips, and CareStream). Float between departments as needed to meet patient care demands. Be proactive in learning and performing pediatric and neonatal radiographic procedures. Maintain up-to-date certifications and knowledge, including BLS and ARRT. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2-3 years in a large trauma Level 2 facility. ARRT and BLS certifications required. Graduate from a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic program. Comfortable working with a variety of radiographic equipment (GE, Phillips, CareStream). Experience with EPIC and Sectra EMR systems is a plus. Willingness to learn and work with pediatric and neonatal patients. Ability to float between departments as required and provide support in various clinical areas.
