Certification Details BLS State LPN Licensure Job Details Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at UnityPoint Health provides patient care in a therapeutic environment. Actions are collaboratively coordinated to provide evidence-based patient/family care using the Professional Nurse Practice Model, reflecting the ANA Code for Nurses. Job Requirements Successful completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse program from an accredited college. Experience or clinical time in Post-Acute Care or an Acute Care environment is preferred. Current licensure in good standing to practice as an LPN in the primary state; must apply for licensure in the secondary state within 90 days. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within three months from the date of hire. Valid Driver's License with occasional travel required. Schedule Information Clinician must be available to pick up 2-3 shifts consistently every week. Additional Details Open visiting hours are available, with special restrictions for certain areas such as Robert Young Center and Riverside. Drive a UPH vehicle, rental, or own vehicle may be required.
