Job Description

Overview The Student Account Manager, as part of Hebrew Theological College's (HTC) Student Services team, will oversee billing, collections, and account management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions for the high school and college division of HTC. The incumbent will advise students and parents on processes such as applying for financial aid and scholarships. The Student Account Manager works in conjunction with HTC's finance team and Touro University New York's Office of the Bursar and Financial Aid. Responsibilities Includes but not limited to: Counsel students and parents on tuition charges, payment plans available and completion of various forms for scholarships and financial aid. Support students and parents with their accounts and payments. Manage all student billing. Ensure accuracy of charges and timely collection of student tuition and fees Follow up on outstanding tuition balances to ensure collections are made Audit student accounts and make adjustments as necessary Review credit and debit reports, as necessary Work with the High School administration to ensure all high school parents are compliant with completing applicable forms and making required payments Ensure student completion of required forms and verify compliance with all Title IV requirements. Follow up as necessary. Work with Touro University counterparts in the Bursar and Financial Aid Offices, as well as the Touro Helpdesk to address issues and resolve them. Ensure that all payments are processed properly and accurately deposited in a timely manner. Qualifications Education, Preparation, and Training Bachelor's degree required; degree concentrations in business, finance or accounting preferred. Administrative experience in a financial/bursar office strongly preferred. Skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize the workload Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to multi-task well in a fast-paced environment Good written, oral, and reading communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to exercise ethical judgment and discretion Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience in managing complex spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel required. Knowledge of ERP systems (i.e. Ellucian Banner and FACTS) is a plus. Maximum Salary USD $60,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $50,000.00/Yr.
