Join Our Clients Team as an Adult Skills Tutor Location: Coventry (with travel to other sites as needed) Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week Contract: Permanent Are you passionate about transforming lives through education and training? Our client is seeking an experienced Adult Skills Tutor to deliver accredited Employability, Functional Skills, Vocational, and Essential Digital Skills qualifications. Why Join? Collaborating closely with local employers, we help learners reach positive destinations and achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct engaging and effective initial and diagnostic assessments. Deliver high-quality, innovative training (Entry Level 1 to Level 2). Create tailored, motivational teaching materials to inspire learners. Maintain learner progress through Individual Learning Plans. Ensure compliance by completing all administrative tasks and funding documentation. Contribute to team meetings, standardisation, and quality assurance activities. About You: Essential: Teaching qualification (e.g., CTLLS, PTLLS, AET, PGCE). Experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages or Functional Skills delivery. Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office and virtual tools like Teams and SharePoint. Desirable: CELTA/CertTESOL certification and knowledge of the local labour market. A team player with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Must hold a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
