Electrical Team Leader

Electrical Team Leader Position Available. 12 hour Days £42,000 per year Role & Responsibilities: Lead a multidisciplinary team of skilled and apprentice craftsmen. Improve site performance and reliability. Plan labour and material requirements for plant needs. Delegate activities of Team Members and contractors. Undertake Technician role as required. Carry out PPM inspections. Coordinate and supervise other services and contractors. Deputise for 1st Line engineering management. Write and review risk assessments, method statements, and procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety instructions. Use the Maintenance management system for maintenance activities. A customer-focused attitude with an understanding - Manage the permitting system for the department. Undertake training to learn new skills. Involvement in plant improvement projects. Respond to breakdowns under own initiative. Deliver business communications to the team. Knowledge & Experience Required: A recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent). Plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems such as: AC & DC circuits, Hydraulic systems, Pumps, drives, gearboxes, Robotics and PLCs Self-starting driven individual capable of leading a small team. Ability to work with cross-functional groups. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault find any issues to root cause and front-line rectification.
