Engagement Coordinator Location: Colchester Type: Full time Reporting to: Line Manager Salary: £28k-£30kDovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider based in Colchester. Role Purpose Support a community-focused project to engage and benefit local communities. Help restore historic boats and create learning opportunities to improve access and engagement. Promote community recovery by organising inclusive activities and expanding outreach efforts. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success. Plan and manage outreach programs for diverse groups, including educators, volunteers, and underrepresented communities. Recruit and support volunteers, ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place. Organise meetings, events, and educational activities both on-site and off-site. Promote the project using printed materials, websites, and social media platforms. Collect feedback and data to evaluate and improve ongoing programs. Requirements Related experience e.g. administration, public sector, recruitment or event planning. Strong organisational and communication skills The ability to work in a team or independently.
