We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Back-End Engineer I to join our Corporate Engineering group. This role is in Pune, MH–HYBRID. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Understand the business reporting & analytics requirements and implement data pipelines to achieve the same. Source data from authorized data sources, implement necessary transformations to convert data to target data model. Data pipeline development and maintenance Data Modelling to feed the reporting layer efficiently. Design, development and maintenance of scalable and efficient data pipelines. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout data lifecycle. Ensure compliance with enterprise standards for regulatory reporting. Troubleshooting & fixing production issues. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling techniques and ETL processes. Experience with data integration tools like Pentaho ETL. Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines using tools like Airflow, Apache Spark, Python. Proficiency in RDBMS and SQL. Experience in implementing Data Governance including data quality checks, data reconciliation, data accuracy checks. Experience with agile ways of working. Experience with No SQL / Big Data stack is good to have. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
