You will be required to: •guide the design of architectural solutions to address business requirements, support product roadmap and take ownership. •work with several agile teams on an application built with microservices and event-based architectures to be deployed on hybrid(on-prem/cloud) environments. •coach development team on all aspects of good software craftsmanship and clean code. •help our application(s) be compliant with company standards and lead the work. Your team You'll be joining the Document Creation and Distribution Crew in Singapore(Stream - Client Documents and Records Management). As part of the CDRM stream our vision is to persue a clear digital first strategy while providing high quality and timely output services. Your Pod will be responsible for key functionalities of document preparation for downstream receivers. We provide an agile working environment with training and exposure to a wide range of the latest technology and development tools. As a Java Software Engineer, you'll play an important role in ensuring UBS remains compliant to all legal and regulatory requirements. You will work on Next Generation global solution for DCD Stream which provides Output Management Services in UBS Wealth Management. Your expertise •12 years of experience in leading a team of >10 members, preferably in an Agile Scrum environment •proven experience of achieving deadlines within budget, a proactive approach to meet project goals and follows a results-driven approach with an ability to deliver good quality solutions to tight timelines •expertise in backend technologies such as Java 11,Spring Framework ,Boot with with cloud native solutions & services integration a plus •ability to design and implement web services APIs using REST , SOAP , SSE ,WebSocket , schema first specification, integration, and security •solid experience in database technologies: SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Postgres) & NoSQL database •experience in frontend technology stack with React an added advantage • understanding of architecture - microservices, event driven, layered, monolithic, design patterns, etc. •sound DevOps knowledge - IaC, CI/CD , Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes.
