Trade Finance Operations (Maker)

Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the issuance of import LCs and process import collections, ensuring timely acceptances and payments. Manage import and export loans, including roll-overs, payments, and handling past due loans. Handle export collections and advise on export LCs, including confirmation, negotiation, acceptance, discounting, and reimbursement claims. Administer various types of guarantees, such as shipping guarantees, bid and performance bonds, and drawee risks. Record and register receipt of trade documents accurately and promptly. Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on all trade finance transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements. Input trade finance transactions into the system and generate entries, ensuring accurate customer advice and documentation. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years OR internship experience in trade finance operations role. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of interpreting and verifying complex trade finance documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and provide exceptional client service. Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with trade finance systems and platforms is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
