Financial Operations Analyst (AP) - Elite Financial Trading Firm

Key Responsibilities: Process and account for invoiced expenses, including preparing month-end journal entries and conducting control checks. Handle additional payable processes, such as employee reimbursements and tax payments. Oversee the accounts payable mailbox, process invoices via Concur, and post entries into the general ledger while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Assist the Financial Control team with month-end tasks, such as reconciling balance sheet accounts (bank accounts, intercompany balances, prepayments, etc.). Engage professionally with suppliers and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of any issues. Adhere to established control processes and ensure compliance with key standards. Proactively identify and recommend improvements to enhance finance operations and strengthen controls. Key Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree with at least Upper Second Class, preferably in a relevant field. Fresh grads are welcome. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software. Excellent organizational and communication skills with an eye for detail. Confidence and initiative when working with experienced stakeholders, both internally and externally. Interest in finance and technology, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth. Logical problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while working independently as needed. A positive and results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting deadlines. Professional, composed, and diplomatic under pressure.
