REQUIREMENTS Matric, and prepress DTP operator experience Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience COMPULSORY Flexographic printing industry experience advantageous Ability to carry out repro work (against media specs), layout, image editing and retouching Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, precise, and a 'can do' attitude Independent worker, highly organised with ability to work under pressure Able to work overtime if needed, to meet deadlines DUTIES Prepare files for print Take files from graphic designer, affect necessary client changes and roll out various sizes from one design handover Artwork resizing, image-retouching, layout, PDF creation, vector retracing of elements etc. Daily responsibility for checking the correctness of one's entire work portfolio Carrying out repro work (against media specs), layout, image editing and retouching Create digital proofs for client approval, checking for errors in text, images, and layout before printing Generate final print-ready files in the required format for the printing press Managing multiple assignments daily Working strictly according to client brand guidelines and keeping up to date with changes Continually working with excellent attention to detail Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
