Role We are looking for a talented Data Scientist Intern to join our team and support the development of data-driven solutions in the music investment space. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying machine learning and AI techniques to the rapidly evolving field of music rights analytics. As an intern, you’ll work closely with our product and tech teams, exploring the latest in AI and data science while contributing to innovations that enhance our platform and help investors and artists thrive. Mission Data Analysis and Preprocessing : Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets from diverse sources to uncover insights about songs streaming statistics, physical sales, social media trends. Predictive Modeling : Build and fine-tune machine learning models to forecast the value of music rights, leveraging both structured and unstructured data. Research and Development : Explore state-of-the-art methodologies such as transformer models or existing APIs (e.g Hugging Face), to innovate in music analytics. Visualization and Reporting : Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration : Work alongside our tech team to integrate your insights and models into Bolero’s platform, contributing to actionable solutions for our users. Technologies Programming : Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn), SQL Machine Learning : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, XGBoost Data Visualization : Matplotlib, seaborn Databases : PostgreSQL Cloud Platforms : AWS Requirements Academic Background : You’re pursuing (or recently completed) a master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Technical Expertise : Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with libraries like Hugging Face for leveraging pretrained models is a plus. Analytical Mindset : Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization. Curiosity : Passion for exploring how AI and data science can intersect with cultural and financial domains. Team Player : Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
