Job Description

Job Position: Special Education Teacher Location: Rock Hill, SC 29730 We have an immediate need for a talented and certified special education teacher for a high school in the Rock Hill area. If you are passionate about teaching, caring, and eager to create a positive and lasting impact, we would love to hear from you. This is a full-time teaching position in a resource/inclusion setting. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree or in Special Education from an accredited college or university. Professional Educator's licensure from the South Carolina Board of Education (SCBOE) State certified to teach Special Education Prepare lesson plans. Responsible for IEPs that are aligned with each special education goals. Able to implement South Carolina online Individualized Education Plan Follow the curriculum guidelines of the school, IDEA, and state of S.C. regarding special education. Experience working with middle schools students. Develop lesson plans in support of each special education student that include a variety of strategies to encourage student engagement. Collaborate with other school staff, school leaders, and Administrators Attend Individualized Education Plan meetings. Administer standardized tests in accordance with accepted protocol and state regulations. Collaborate with team, staff and parents regarding progress.
