We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Quality Engineer – Automation Testing to join our Structed Debt – Structure Finance team. This role is located in Pune– HYBRID. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Creates comprehensive test plans from Stakeholder’s requirements Validates and ensures Quality testing scripts are robust and maintainable Creates comprehensive and actionable Quality testing reports Participates in testing rounds for new features Identifies critical test cases for automation Participates in SCRUM meetings and other project meetings Works in a distributed team To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 5 years of related experience is required. Proficient with Java or Python for writing automation testing scripts. Proficient in using open-source test automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Test NG. Experience with JIRA, and documenting test cases and test execution in JIRA Proficient with monitoring, aggregating, and analyzing Testing Automation Results & Metrics Proficient with identifying the root cause of the test failures and classifying them at scale Experience working with DevOps Tools like Git, Jenkins and/or Docker You are strong in debugging, troubleshooting, and analyzing complex distributed applications You are very comfortable providing input to project plans and recommending process improvements People Leadership requirement (if applicable) bullet point At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
