To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for a Creative Strategist to join our team based in our Paris office. The Creative Strategist will collaborate with the local market lead and team across strategy, creative, talent, experiences, and communications for clients in luxury fashion, beauty, hospitality, design, and lifestyle. This role requires a creative and strategic mindset, building strong relationships across departments to leverage Karla Otto's integrated services. The candidate will support on developing and executing brand experiences such as influencer trips, immersive events, and unique activations that resonate with target audiences and create impactful results both online and offline. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong copywriting skills, experience crafting visually compelling pitch decks, and a passion for ideation. They will work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality, innovative projects that drive value for clients and the agency. The role requires a well-rounded marketer with strong knowledge of social media, brand communications, and current digital trends. An interest in hospitality, culture, and related verticals (e.g., music, art, sport, etc.) is essential. The strategist will create concepts and branded content for various platforms and program offline experiences that generate online buzz. Client Focus Support with pitches, respond to client RFPs, and contribute to new business development. Articulate concepts clearly and effectively in visual, written, and verbal formats. Ideate and execute brand strategies aligned with client goals, including influencer selection, talent negotiation, and commissioning branded content. Develop targeted strategies, including brand positioning, channel selection, and engagement tactics. Create and manage budgets for proposed projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelines. Adapt workflows to meet client needs and ensure successful outcomes. Evaluate campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for continuous optimization. Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage workflow, resolve issues, and integrate feedback. Stay informed on brand marketing trends, digital strategy, and competitor activity to advise clients on emerging opportunities. Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing and liaising with the finance team. Support on creative production of brand experiences, including events, influencer trips, and activations, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Internal Focus Build trust and foster strong relationships with internal teams. Collaborate with Influencer & Celebrity teams and group partner Lefty to align on talent strategy. Work with the Insights team to incorporate data-driven strategies into client campaigns. Oversee workload of junior team members. Stay updated on industry trends, content styles, and platform innovations, sharing insights with the team. Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to optimise future initiatives. Support with research on social media tools, channels, design, and strategies. Support the agency’s mission statement and collaborate with teams across international offices. Assist senior team members and manage administrative tasks as needed. Key Attributes 3 years of experience in creative strategy or similar is required Fluent in English (mother-tongue), French is advantageous Excellent copywriting, communication and presentation skills Proficient in both the creative and analytical side of marketing, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound Excellent working knowledge of social platforms, predominantly Instagram and TikTok as well as emerging platforms High level execution skills and meticulous attention to detail, both aesthetically and organisationally Natural planner and organiser Collaborative team player but with the ability to work autonomously to deliver to brief and on-time A positive, can-do attitude who can work under pressure and likes to solve problems A creative, innovative thinker with an open attitude and eagerness to learn new things A real team player who will excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Ability to juggle multiple projects and work to stringent deadlines Leadership, coaching and management of junior team members Good listening and diplomacy skills Strong knowledge of and experience with Influencer Marketing monitoring / tracking tools Proficiency in InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint Strong numerical proficiency, including the use of Excel
