Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Loan Product Specialist II . The right candidate will serve as a loan product helpdesk, manage assigned investor relationships and lead teams to launch new loan product offerings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Serve as a product helpdesk Research new products and investors Oversee new investor approval as well as new product and investor roll-outs Create loan product codes and identify closing documents and add them to Loan Origination Software (LOS) Complete assigned agency/investor re-certifications Maintain a company-wide product database Oversee orientation training for new Mortgage Loan Originators and processors Notify company of agency guideline changes Train new members of the Loan Product Department Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Ability to occasionally travel overnight Qualifications Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Three to five years of mortgage industry experience in a production or related role Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications Proficiency with MS Office and email Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
