Senior Software QA Engineer

Check out our site at aethernrg.com to see our tools in action What You'll Do Work with the CTO and product team to ship software on a weekly basis Support the larger Engineering team by building and maintaining our testing strategies, particularly for end to end platform testing Help us improve our CI system: collaborate with developers to simplify releases and increase their confidence in shipping Work with teams to determine the minimal automated test coverage we need and implement it You are at the ground level at a fast growing startup, so expect a Problem Solving and Owning items: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues. You need to be comfortable diving into the unknown, solving complex problems, and owning your solutions end-to-end. Ability to take full ownership of testing features and see them through from concept to deployment. If you're the kind of person who gets things done and takes initiative, you'll fit right in. We are early product market fit and in a high-stakes startup environment. Work Authorization: Must be able to work in France and available full-time in-office. Who You Are 3 years of QA experience ideally at startups, Experience with BrowserStack’s Test Management or any test case management tool Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Quick learn and adapt to shifting priorities Experience working in fast pace companies and delivering production code Experience with automation (Selenium, Cypress, Nightwatch Js, etc) Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Ability to code in Python and Javascript. SQL experience is a plus GCP knowledge is a plus Must be close to C1 level in English In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug reporting. Solid writing skills for communicating clearly with coworkers.
