Mechanical Technician

AVA Energy are working with a leading OEM in the Power Generation space, in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in the United Kingdom. Job Summary: Perform dismantling, inspection, condition assessment, and reporting on received equipment. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to recommend repairs, refurbishments, and processes to restore equipment to serviceable condition per specifications. Responsible for partial and full assembly, including balancing, pressure testing, and customer acceptance testing of equipment. Execute mechanical fitting tasks with flexibility, integrity, and efficiency. Be responsible for onsite Health and Safety. Education/Experience: Apprenticeship up to NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum two years experience with pumps and rotating equipment, including repair, maintenance, and refurbishment. Fluent in English
