Customer Service Call Agent Edinburgh – onsite 6-month temp contract (initially) Hourly rate, paid weekly Meraki Talent is partnered with a leading financial services provider to support with the recruitment of several Customer Service Call Agents. This is a full-time opportunity (Monday-Friday 9 till 5, 35 hours) for a period of 6 months – initially. What You'll Be Doing: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional support across phone and digital channels. Make outbound calls to assist clients with processing requests, updating information, and providing guidance. Transition to handling inbound inquiries, addressing a variety of customer needs. Actively listen and respond to customer questions with expertise, creativity, and a commitment to excellent service. Stay informed about industry trends and digital advancements to provide innovative solutions. Advocate for the customer by identifying trends, offering feedback, and contributing to service improvements. What You'll Need to Succeed: Demonstrated experience in a customer service role, with a strong ability to take ownership of customer interactions and resolve issues effectively. Confidence in using digital tools and the ability to support customers through phone-based guidance. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. Problem-solving abilities to find solutions efficiently and handle requests with professionalism. Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks, tracking information, and maintaining accurate records.
