Job Title: Press Brake Operator Location: Newport Salary: £13.50 per hour Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday 6.30am-16.00pm Monday to Thursday 6.30-13.00pm Friday 40hrs over the week Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Press Brake Operator to work for a client based in Newport on a Temp to Permanent contract. Main Job roles Operate the laser cutting machine to cut and shape materials to a high standard and according to specifications. Set up and calibrate the machine ensuring proper alignment and focus and adjust laser parameters, such as power, speed etc Interpret technical drawings and program the machine accordingly. Check materials for size, thickness and grade, prior to cutting. Set up and load materials on the laser bed. Monitor the laser cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality of cuts, make adjustments to settings as needed to achieve the desired results and troubleshoot and resolve issues or malfunctions that may arise during production Inspect finished products for accuracy, ensuring alignment with customers specifications, then clean ready for production.
