Job overview Leeds & York Partnership NHS Trust are seeking to recruit a Domestic Assistant, on a full time basis, to join our Facilities team in providing five star cleaning services at St Mary's Hospital . Estates & Facilities are a progressive and forward thinking department looking for a self-motivated Domestic Assistant. Main duties of the job You will join a domestic team ensuring a clean environment in line with the Cleaning Standards for our service users, colleagues and visitors, you would be required to work 5 days a week Monday-Friday, but may also be 5/7 which includes working some Bank holidays. The position is 37.5 hours per week; hours will be 7am- 3pm but may vary between 7am and 7pm. Detailed job description and main responsibilities The post holder is responsible for providing a high standard of domestic service to patients, staff and visitors within Clinical/Non-Clinical departments, alone or as part of a team. The Soft FM service is provided as part of the wider Estates and Facilities Directorate. The domestic Assistant works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a high standard of cleaning in areas of high activity with frequent change. Staff must be flexible, adaptable and work to support other staff, who have clinical responsibility to service users.
