Job Description

A Management Accountant is required to join a Not For Profit organisation in Oxford, where they will play a key role in the Accounting & Finance department. The role involves both management and financial accounting, budgeting and financial analysis. Client Details Our client is an esteemed College based in Oxford. They are highly respected for their contributions to education and research. Their Accounting & Finance department is well-established and offers a strong support system. Description Prepare and present monthly management accounts. Preparation of annual budgets Carry out financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations. Provide financial advice to management to aid strategic planning. Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and system Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: A relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Experience in management and financial accounting within a Not For Profit sector ( ideally the Education sector) Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
