Finance Accounts Manager

REQUIREMENTS Matric, similar qualification Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Min 5 years of hands-on experience in financial management, bookkeeping, or accounting Proficiency in Xero accounting software Strong understanding of financial management, tax compliance, and bookkeeping. Knowledge of financial regulations and statutory reporting requirements Ability to work independently and take full ownership of financial functions Strong problem-solving and analytical skills High attention to detail and accuracy DUTIES Full Financial Management Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations Manage the company's cash flow to ensure financial stability Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and income tax submissions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for business growth. Budgeting & Forecasting Develop and manage company budgets. Prepare financial forecasts and monitor actual performance against projections. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements. Payroll & Compliance Oversee payroll calculations handled by the HR administrator and ensure compliance with tax and labour regulations. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions when necessary. Business Support & Administration Provide financial insights to support business decisions. Assist management with financial planning and risk assessment. Handle administrative financial tasks, including banking, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
