Job Opportunity: Social Worker - Children s (Grade 9) Location: North Hull Job Type: Temporary Role: Longer-term Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings Work Pattern: Compressed hours (Nine-day fortnight, with one day off every fortnight) We are currently seeking Social Workers to join the Locality Safeguarding team based in the North Hull area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced social workers looking to take on longer-term cases in Child in Need , Child Protection , and Care Proceedings work. Why us: Its a great place to work. Key Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of children and families in need of protection and support. Conducting child protection assessments and making recommendations. Working through care proceedings from start to finish. Engaging with families and external agencies to provide tailored interventions and support. Requirements: Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, or equivalent). Experience in child safeguarding, child protection, and care proceedings work. Minimum of 3 years' experience within an English Local Authority. HCPC registration. Full driving license. Additional Information: Compressed hours available: Work a nine-day fortnight , allowing you to have one day off every two weeks.
