Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive KS1 lessons. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, ensuring all children reach their potential. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering confidence and enthusiasm. Support children with early literacy, numeracy, and phonics activities. Assist with classroom management, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused. Work closely with SENCOs and teaching staff to support students with additional needs.What We're Looking For in a KS1 Teaching Assistant: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or Classroom Support role is beneficial. A passion for primary education and working with young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff. A patient, adaptable, and positive approach to supporting students.
