Behaviour Mentor Immediate start Excellent rates of pay Part time work pattern Catholic Comprehensive School DfE Designated Academy with Specialisms in Sports & Technology Ideal for an experienced Behaviour Mentor with a proven track record of supporting Autistic pupils aged 16 to 19 years old A Behaviour Mentor is needed at an All-Boys Catholic Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. The team are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to help with a student in their Specialist Resource Provision for 16-19 year olds with Moderate Learning Difficulties. This Behaviour Mentor post would require you to work 1:1 with an 18 year old male pupil with Autism. Experience of managing challenging behaviour and training of how to safely handle physical altercations in schools safely would be essential in order to be considered for this Behaviour Mentor position. 2 days a week will be the initial work pattern for this Behaviour Mentor role, with it eventually increasing to 5 days a week, in order to get the student back into education. The rates of pay for this Behaviour Mentor role will be between £100 and £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant. The School An All-Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form, rated 'Outstanding' in all areas, located in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. The school is a very reputable Catholic comprehensive which has been serving the community since the 1950s. It is a DfE designated Academy with Specialisms in Technology & Sports. Oversubscribed and growing, the school is very well established within the area. With a strong Catholic ethos, the school is an incredibly supportive and inclusive environment that is maintained by the excellent relationships between pupils and staff. In addition to its focus on faith, the school encourages the Arts, particularly Drama. The school hosts regular theatre productions and musicals. The Progress 8 Score for the school is also well above the national average.
