WebLogic Administrator - Server Configuration Tools

Job Description : WebLogic Admin Position : WebLogic Admin Experience : Minimum 6 Years of Total Experience Job Type : Full-Time Job Locations : Hyderabad Shift : General Qualification : Any Graduation / Post Graduation - Manage WebLogic server configurations. - Troubleshoot application server issues. - Ensure middleware stability and performance. - Plan and implement upgrades and patches for WebLogic servers. Roles & Responsibilities : - Administer and manage Oracle WebLogic server environments for enterprise applications. - Monitor and optimize server performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. - Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of WebLogic servers. - Troubleshoot server and application-related issues, providing timely resolutions. - Implement and manage security configurations, including SSL and access controls. - Document server configurations, operational processes, and best practices. - Collaborate with development teams to deploy and optimize applications on WebLogic. - Configure clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms for WebLogic servers. - Ensure compliance with licensing policies and industry security standards. - Provide training and mentorship on WebLogic administration to team members. Implementation Phase Responsibilities : - Plan and execute WebLogic server installations, upgrades, and patches. - Deploy and configure clustering, load balancing, and high-availability solutions. - Automate routine WebLogic administrative tasks to improve efficiency. - Monitor server performance during and after implementation to ensure stability. - Collaborate with security teams to implement access controls and SSL configurations. - Troubleshoot and resolve WebLogic server and application-related issues promptly. - Document new server configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures. - Provide training and support for developers and system administrators using WebLogic. - Optimize server settings for enhanced performance and resource utilization. - Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of WebLogic changes. Technologies : - Proven experience as a WebLogic Administrator, managing enterprise environments. - Expertise in Oracle WebLogic installations, configurations, and optimizations. - Strong understanding of WebLogic clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms. - Familiarity with Java application servers and deployment best practices. - Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting WebLogic server performance. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. - A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate - WebLogic Server) are a plus.
