Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Job Description : We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3 years of experience in building high-performance, scalable, and secure mobile applications. If you have a strong grasp of Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK, along with expertise in RESTful API integration, security best practices, and performance optimization, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin/Java. - Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication. - Optimize apps for performance, scalability, and security in real-time environments. - Implement OAuth, JWT authentication, and other security best practices. - Work with Android NDK for performance-sensitive features. - Ensure cross-device compatibility and adherence to Material Design guidelines. - Manage the Google Play Store app deployment process. Must-Have Skills : - Proficiency in Kotlin and Java - Strong experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, Room Database, SQLite - Hands-on expertise in REST API integration, Firebase, and push notifications - Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and app security best practices - Familiarity with Git, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines Nice-to-Have : - Experience with MVVM or MVP architecture - Understanding of mobile analytics tools like Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics - Ability to integrate third-party SDKs/APIs for payments, social logins, etc. Location : Pune (Hybrid/Remote) Experience : 3 years Preferred Background : Product-based company experience (ref:hirist.tech)
