Boat Mechanic – Yamaha V6 & V8 Engines

REQUIREMENTS Completed trade test as a Marine Mechanic Minimum 5 years post qualification experience Proven experience working on V6 and V8 carburetted engines Bilingual in English and Afrikaans DUTIES Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems Identifying the cause of engine malfunctions Install new parts when required Replace worn or damaged parts e.g. spark plugs, filters etc Ensure safe and proper operation of the vessel Adjust or replace propellers when needed See to oil changes, grease fittings, and cooling system checks Run the engine at different speeds to ensure proper function and identify issues Keep detailed records of work performed and parts replaced to inform customers Salary dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
