Winder Electrician

Qualifications and experience: Minimum qualifications and requirements: Grade 12/N3 Electrical Engineering Electrical Trade Test 2-3 Years in an Underground mining environment Must have own transport and valid drivers license. First Aid Certificate Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket) Duties and responsibilities: Ensure that good standard of safety awareness is maintained. Maintenance and fault finding on winding systems, ventilation equipment and general electrical and instrumentation installations, Schindler elevators, overhead cranes, including legal duties. Ensure that section personnel comply with the required Health and Safety and Environmental standards. Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintained. Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done. Electrical maintenance on all machinery Must be able to work overtime when required Sound planning (time management), and organisational abilities Ability to plan, organize and prioritize. Good customer and interpersonal skills Ability to function on your own and within a team. Independent, self-motivated, proactive thinking Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal) and one other official language.
