Application Analyst (12-month Secondment/FTC)

Description Motability Operations are currently recruiting for an Application Analyst to join our team in Bristol on a 12-month secondment/FTC. You will join a team of Application & Insight Analysts to support the Customer Services Division in the expansion of our analytical capabilities. This role reports into the Customer MI Team Manager. You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a broad range of applications, including locally developed and off the shelf products. This is an exciting opportunity for a logical individual who enjoys problem solving and provides a breadth of experience of both analytical and operational processes. Qualifications As a key part of the Customer Service MI & Insight team at Motability Operations, you will influence key business decisions through accurate, reliable, and timely analysis, alongside regular and ad-hoc reporting. Your role involves maintaining our current in-house systems, working with the team to identify improvements to current applications, and monitoring and maintaining applications to ensure operational performance. You should be comfortable working with database applications, possess a strong knowledge of data structures, and have the ability to problem solve. Exposure to or experience in SQL languages and database procedures is essential. We value individuals who are self-starters and highly motivated, capable of clear communication, and understanding business needs and objectives. You need to be a strong team player who can support colleagues regardless of workload and demands, effectively highlight risks, improve processes, and contribute to all the team's deliverables. Minimum criteria: Relevant degree or strong relevant academic or vocational background in a technical/logic based subject Excellent team working and willing to proactively engage the wider business to support outputs Programming skills SQL/Python is essential Ability to communicate with people at all levels using email, telephone and face-to-face Time management skills Ability to multi-task alongside BAU and project based workload.
