In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Will provide technical support to their customers via remote technical support on the service desk. While on the service desk you will use several communication channels to advise customers of resolutions or progress updates on tickets that are logged. These will be via either telephone, e-mail, or the company ticket system Work alongside an existing member of the team to help establish and diagnose problems/faults to gain experience which can range from issues with troubleshooting cabling, clients, interactive boards, client software. Microsoft Diagnostic Tools/Event Viewer to look for events that may be relate to problems and faults and use the company RMM software to remote monitor and manage endpoints. Use Active Directory to provision the accounts and ensure they are in the correct Organizational Unit to make sure the correct security restrictions are applied to the end user. Utilise various techniques to resolve both software and hardware. This will be a combination of company laptop along with various tools (i.e. RMM Software) Taking support calls from customers providing remote assistance over the phone and utilising remote management tools. The apprentice will be provided login credentials to our self-paced learning platform of which they will be required to achieve the core certifications of CompTIA A, Network, Security and Server. Afterwards, well support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
