Your role will involve developing outline designs for advanced, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible water recycling plants and other facilities. With a focus on innovation, you'll have the chance to evaluate and trial new technologies and products, shaping the future of the water industry. We aim to develop you into an expert in your engineering area, making you a company technical specialist and a national expert involved in formulating national standards.About You: Qualifications:MSc/MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalentChartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or close to achieving this with the IET or equivalent institutionExperience:A minimum of 5 years' experience within a relevant industrySkills:Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to drive innovation and manage complex engineering challengesFull driving licence for site visitsResponsibilities:Lead sustainable and environmentally friendly design projectsProvide expert guidance on design calculations and specificationsChallenge the status quo and drive continuous improvementResearch industry best practices and introduce cutting-edge digital design conceptsCollaborate with supply chains to enhance efficiency and technical standardsMentor and develop junior engineers, fostering their professional growthDeliver projects that exceed budget expectations with cost-effective solutions
