Group QHSE & Sustainability Director Hybrid role with regular travel to London & Luton offices Are you passionate about driving cultural change and making a real impact on people, safety, and the environment? This is a fantastic opportunity for a Group QHSE & Sustainability Director to lead and shape an inclusive, innovative, and effective approach to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (QHSE & S) across our organization. You will work collaboratively with senior leaders to embed a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that QHSE & S leadership is fully integrated across the business. This role offers a platform to design and implement engaging, forward-thinking strategies while leading high-performing teams that create meaningful, long-term impact. What you’ll be doing As Group QHSE & Sustainability Director, you will: ✔ Work with the Group Leadership team to manage the Integrated Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System across the organization. ✔ Lead and support a high-performing QHSE & S leadership team, ensuring effective performance management. ✔ Develop and refine policies, procedures, and processes to promote best practices in safety and sustainability. ✔ Partner with senior managers to drive continuous improvements in safety performance and environmental impact. ✔ Oversee and support investigations related to accidents, near misses, and insurance claims. ✔ Champion driver safety programs to ensure the well-being of our workforce. ✔ Create and maintain a culture where safety is valued, responsibilities are clear, and objectives are achieved. ✔ Develop and implement training strategies that empower employees and support professional growth. ✔ Support ISO accreditations and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards. What you’ll bring ✔ Extensive experience as a QHSE & S leader, with recognized qualifications such as CMIOSH, IEMA or equivalent. ✔ A track record of influencing senior leadership and working collaboratively to embed meaningful cultural change. ✔ Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to inspire teams and make QHSE & S a core business priority. ✔ Experience in using data insights and storytelling to drive strategic decision-making. ✔ The ability to work flexibly, calmly, and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. ✔ Strong planning and organizational skills, particularly in managing teams across multiple locations. Essential Experience ✔ Leadership experience in QHSE & S within the facilities management and security industry. ✔ A solid understanding of ISO Integrated Management Systems. ✔ A track record of building and leading high-performing teams. ✔ Experience in incident reporting, investigation, and resolution to maintain robust safety practices. ✔ The ability to establish audit and assurance programs to ensure legal compliance. ✔ Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and costs. ✔ Deep knowledge of Environmental/Sustainability legislation and experience implementing improvement programs.
