Machine Shop Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with an Engineering company to recruit a Machine Shop Maintenance Engineer to join their site in Leeds. Salary: £15-£18 per hour depending on skills. Days – 06:00 – 14:00 and 08:00 – 16:00. 40 hours basic Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will maintain and repair equipment minimising downtime through an efficient planned maintenance system. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will include Effectively plan, organise, and maintain the plant to maximise machine availability Manage and maintain records of preventative maintenance and repair work Work to a planned maintenance schedule Maintain good individual relations with all of the maintenance tea Liaising effectively with suppliers, service providers, and external representatives We would be keen to speak with Mechanical Maintenance Engineers with the following: Completed a full apprenticeship and had hands-on maintenance experience Understanding of preventative maintenance Experience in a similar role within heavy industry Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workload Apply now, or for a confidential discussion about this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, please contact Nicole Lloyd.
