Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant

They offer a wide range of services, including architecture, building services, planning, civil engineering, environmental consulting and sustainability consulting.As a business, they provide tailored consultancy services on the environmental issues involved with varying construction projects. They are involved with a large number of high profile projects across residential, education and more unique sectors, including motorsport facilities and entertainment. Your new role You will join the Geo-Environmental team in either their Solihull or Birmingham Central offices, you will be a part of some of the UK's most interesting earthwork projects.This is an excellent opportunity for career progression as you will join the team at the front end of their growth curveMain duties could include: Work on Phase 1 and 2 reporting for Goe-Environmental and Geotechnical ground investigations Site monitoring including groundwater, surface water and ground-gas Soil and rock logging / sampling Reporting and validation of earthworks Project management and organisation to ensure timely delivery What you'll need to succeed A degree in Geology or relevant environmental field Proven experience in Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical consultancy in the UK Geotechnical knowledge - soils and rock logging Good knowledge of relevant UK environmental legislation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Full UK driving licence What you'll get in return £25,000 - £32,000 per annum (Depending on experience) Excellent career growth potential as part of an expanding team 25 days annual leave Ability to buy, carry over or sell annual leave Life assurance, pension scheme and income protection Three volunteering days each year A flexible approach to hybrid working Discounted gym membership A range of other company benefits and discounts (ask me for more details) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
