Project Planner About the Role: Hays Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity for a Planning Engineer to join a dynamic team working on critical Nuclear Power Programmes at Hinkley Point C (Bridgewater). Key Responsibilities: Support the IPC Planning Manager and/or PCM in implementing and maintaining Integrated Project Controls processes for Planning, including producing monthly reports with intelligent information and analysis Collaborate with other Disciplines of Integrated Project Controls and Project Support Functions to help deliver Project goals in line with HPC principles of Trust, Transparency, and Teamwork Maintain awareness of schedule interfaces with other Programmes and their potential impact Produce and maintain the schedule baseline IWS in Primavera 6 (P6), with fully logic-linked work plans aligned to the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and approved construction techniques Ensure the Level 2 IWS is updated for monthly reporting Update HPC Level 3 schedules to reflect work progress and performance as required Ensure contractor schedules align with HPC processes and the IWS forecast position Maintain daily and weekly work planning in the 4D model Provide quality checks on Scheduling data Qualifications: Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or related field Proven relevant experience in a Project Management or Project Controls environment in a similar Scheduling role Experience using scheduling software, ideally Primavera P6 version 7 and above Benefits: Free single medical cover and digital GP service Family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave pay Free membership of employee assistance and parental programs Reimbursement towards relevant professional development and memberships Matched-funding, paid volunteering time, and charitable donations through our Collectively program Flexible working hours, patterns, and locations to suit you and our business
