As a Senior Practitioner you will holding complex caseload of Children in need, Child protection and cases in the court arena. All about You You have current registration with Social Work England You are a diligent and detail oriented individual. You are experienced while still being willing to learn new things and maintain your own continuing professional development. You have the willingness and ability to travel between locations. You have an in depth knowledge of the legal and policy frameworks and guidance that inform and mandate social work practice in Childrens Social Care. All about our Team You might be aware that in 2023 Peterboroughs Childrens Services received an OFSTED judgement of inadequate but within that report it was highlighted that children in need of protection, and those with more complex needs, receive appropriate support from the family safeguarding teams. And for most children, it was highlighted that risks and needs are identified, and interventions are provided at the right level. But we always want to improve and expand the Family Safeguarding team, ensuring we keep caseloads at a manageable level and for that reason, we are recruiting.
