CAD Technician

CAD Technician Birmingham £32,000 - £35,000 DOE SF Recruitment are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join our established manufacturing client based in Birmingham. The role is in the technical department and will undertake day to day drawing & production method requirements of the business, with a long term role supporting the Technical Manager in developing new manufactured products Requirements: - Ideally you have served a recognised apprenticeship Level 3 Manufacturing Engineering Be ONC/HNC Qualified - Appreciate manufacturing processes which include Turning, Milling, Gear cutting, Broaching, Welding, Press tool work, Assembly - Have experience in A Drawing Office environment - Knowledge of materials & heat treatment processes - Be able to use AutoCAD Inventor Software Or Similar - Be able to work to Company, BS & ISO Standards - Experience using MS Office, including Excel, Word & Access Databases - Knowledge of the Company's Products which include Sprockets, Gears, racks, pulleys, Couplings, clutches and torque limiters is preferable but training will be provided. Details: - Location - Great Barr, Birmingham - Full time role, expectation fully office based - Normal Working Hours. Mon - Thurs 8.00 am - 4.30 pm Friday 8.00 am - 3.30 pm ½ Hr Lunch Break 12.30 - 1.00 - Salary £27,000 - 32,000 pa - Holidays in line with company annual holiday allowance - 25 days plus national holidays - Enrolment in the Company Stake-Holder Pension Scheme (After 13 weeks) - Reporting to Technical Manager - Working alongside experienced and long-standing sales, production & buying teams
