If you answered yes to the above, this Humanities Teaching Assistant role is for you The role – Humanities Teaching Assistant I am working with an SEMH school based in Bromley that are looking for a new Humanities Teaching Assistant to join their team In this role you will be working closely with key stage 3 students with social, emotional and mental health needs. You must be an approachable, enthusiastic and flexible person with the ability to build strong rapport with staff and students. In this Humanities Teaching Assistant role you will be required to work 1:1 with students to assist in their classwork or where they may need additional help specifically with PSHE. To be considered for this role you must have strong curriculum knowledge and experience working with challenging behaviour. The school – SEMH This SEMH school is based in Bromley and caters for students aged 11 – 16 years old. The school’s focus is on developing core skills of literacy and numeracy, whilst offering a broad range of other curriculum areas to provide real interest for their pupils.
