Backend Engineer – PropTech London (Hybrid – 4 days in office) Are you a highly skilled Backend Engineer looking for an opportunity to build cutting-edge financial infrastructure and large-scale systems? As a Backend Engineer, you’ll work in a cross-functional team alongside product and design to develop high-performance backend systems that power seamless financial transactions. You’ll primarily work with Golang and deploy on Google Cloud. What You’ll Do: Build scalable, high-performance backend systems for financial transactions and real estate investment. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic. Participate in architecture, development, testing, and code reviews within an agile team. Improve code readability and efficiency by implementing best practices. What We’re Looking For: A degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience as a backend or full-stack engineer. Strong understanding of design and architecture practices for large-scale web applications. Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, or similar testing frameworks.
