As a Communications and Marketing Officer for Packwood House, you'll be responsible for letting people know about the place, and how they can visit. What it's like to work here Based at Packwood House, you’ll support the marketing and communications across four properties, Coughton Court, Baddesley Clinton, Charterhouse and Packwood House but your main focus will be Charterhouse, although you may work at another site for meetings or to gather content. Each site consists of a historic house, formal gardens, and large open parkland, but each one is unique in its visit and offer. You'll join a community of people who love what they do, care about people and places and share the stories they hold. Our team are central to creating a brilliant visitor experience and we need you to add engaging and diverse marketing and communications to take it to the next level. What you'll be doing We have an annual plan covering communications and marketing, and your role from will be to achieve what’s on that plan. We have some ambitious targets that you’ll be aiming at, including reaching new and diverse audiences, so there’s room for creativity and fresh ideas. This will include defining advertising activities and creating promotional materials and updates (across all media platforms, including social media and web pages), writing and distributing press releases, crafting new content and representing us on location filming and broadcast media when you need to. You’ll also be taking the lead on the marketing and communications for a major roof project at Coughton Court. We're looking for someone who can help us reach larger and more diverse audiences for our places and our digital content. You'll work as part of a team to make sure that we're sharing the best stories we can, working closely with key property leads and consultancy. Spreading the word about places to visit in the great outdoors, and raising awareness of our conservation work is key to what we're about. You'll supervise 2-3 volunteers at different properties and you’ll also support where required with daily operations to assist in welcoming visitors to our properties.
