Job Description Click here to apply This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at our secondary specialist provision in Bannockburn High School, which opened in August 2023. Our specialist provision currently meets the needs of autistic young people and those young people with more complex additional support needs. We are seeking to appoint a permanent Support for Learning Assistant (SLA) who will work for 27.5 hours week, during term-time. The successful candidates will have experience in supporting children and young people. Knowledge of autism and appropriate support strategies is desirable. The successful candidates will be kind, flexible, supportive, understanding and able to listen and respond appropriately to young people. They will be a valued part of a team, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning and support to meet the holistic needs of the young people. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
