Job Title: CT/XRAY Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: 0 years - New grads accepted License: Valid State License (pending license accepted) Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT CT Must-Have: Must have MRI and X-ray skills Description: This is a hybrid position requiring both CT and X-ray experience and certification. The position is located in an acute care medical center and long-term care facility with outpatient services. The facility is classified as a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital. The environment is conducive to learning, with an experienced manager known for great people management skills. Primary types of cases include ER and Outpatient. Candidates must be flexible to float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage of X-ray and CT. There is a minimal on-call requirement, and some weekend on-call work is necessary. Travelers must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Facility-provided housing and a rental vehicle are available during the assignment. Housing consists of 1-bedroom apartments and is large enough for the traveler only, while pets are not allowed. Vehicles are provided exclusively for use around town within a 30-mile radius from the facility. Travelers must have appropriate personal vehicle insurance to cover rental vehicles. Modules are required pre-start and are non-billable, averaging 16 hours. Orientation is 40 hours and non-billable. The facility does not accept Hep B titers or declinations. Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting are required. Facility provides necessary communication devices or compensates for work-related cell phone use.
