Job Title: Radiologic Technologist CT Job Specialty: CT Tech Job Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (14:00 - 22:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Two years of clinical CT imaging experience License: State Licensed Radiographer required Certifications: Certification by the appropriate body—ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) and (CT) required. BLS required. Must-Have: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology; Preferred Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Job Description: - Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing assorted radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors. - Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed, including the use of proper isolation precautions when needed. - Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. - Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. - May be assigned other shifts based on business needs with no on-call duties. - Travelers may be floated to multiple units, depending on current staffing needs and different locations within the organization. Note: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from the assigned primary work site location. Flu vaccine is required, with medical and religious exemptions only. Orientation generally takes place every other week and is typically about one week long.
