What the Job Involves The Head of SEN/D Improvement and Quality Assurance is a high-profile role within the People Services Directorate, reporting to the Director of Learning, Inclusion and Skills. You will lead and manage the development and implementation of effective SEND and SEN support across all education settings, ensuring these programs are aligned with EHCP requirements. Key responsibilities include monitoring, challenging, and supporting educational provisions to enhance SEN support, leading strategic initiatives, and piloting innovations. You will provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff within the department, collaborating with partners to improve outcomes for children with additional needs and managing the High Needs Block deficit.
