Foreman (Raisebore Drilling)

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 and relevant technical qualification 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in the mining industry Fluency in English Possible secondment to Africa & India as an Expat, should you choose The position can be based in various regions of South Africa Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all raisebore drilling activities, ensuring they are conducted safely and efficiently Work with engineers and other team members to plan drilling operations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Monitor key drilling parameters, such as depth, angle, and bit performance, to ensure the drilling process is on track Ensure that all drilling operations comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications Lead and motivate the drilling crew, providing guidance and training to ensure they perform their tasks effectively and safely Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members, ensuring that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities Ensure that all drilling equipment is properly maintained and in good working order Troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating repairs as needed Manage the inventory of drilling tools and supplies, ensuring that everything is readily available when needed. Implement and enforce all safety protocols on the drilling site Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure that all safety measures are in place Respond to emergencies and ensuring that the safety of all personnel is protected TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
