Senior Civil Engineer / Civil Engineering Technologist

We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Professional Civil Engineer/ Civil Engineering Technologist to join an established medium-sized Consulting Engineering firm located in Bellville (Cape Town). The candidate must have 7-10 years experience as a Civil Engineering Consultant with post-graduation design experience in municipal infrastructure projects (Water networks, sewer networks, stormwater network, roads and parking areas). Key requirements: Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Quantity and cost estimates for tender and construction projects. Preparing Civil3D drawings and specifications. Preparing 3D surfaces, volume calculations, corridors, and comprehensive knowledge of Civil 3D feature lines and grading. Preparation of specifications and reports. Conduct Inspections and site visits. Involved in civil projects from concept stage to completion stage. Comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to manage and mentor junior civil engineering staff. BTech: Civil Engineering / BEng Tech: Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer / Technologist with ECSA. 7-10 year's of post-graduation design experience in municipal infrastructure projects (Water networks, sewer networks, stormwater network, stormwater manangement, roads, and parking areas). Site experience would be advantageous. Have good communication skills. Stable employment record. Code B drivers license with own vehicle.
