Zurich Kotak General Insurance - Java Software Engineer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java backend applications. - Implement robust and scalable solutions for complex business requirements. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. - Optimize application performance and ensure high availability. - Lead technical design and architecture discussions. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. - Drive best practices in software development. - Contribute to technical roadmaps and strategic planning. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Analyze and improve existing systems. - Implement effective solutions to ensure system stability and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality. - Work in an agile development environment. Preferred Skills : - Experience with microservices architecture. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of financial domain.
